Over the past 15 years, we have treated more than 500 patients using interceptive treatments. Below, you can find the peer-reviewed research we have conducted, as well as the treatment results. Shapers represent the most advanced interceptive treatment, optimized to resolve orthodontic issues using AI and 3D printing.

The use of functional appliances in the treatment of hyperdivergent Class II malocclusions enables the normalization of muscle function and the control of dentoalveolar growth, preventing the worsening of the long-face structure and improving aesthetics.

Early treatment in a mixed dentition using the eruption guidance appliance is an effective method for reestablishing normal occlusion and eliminating the need for further orthodontic treatment.

Following treatment during the early mixed dentition stage, a clinically significant correction of the molar relationship, overjet, overbite, incisor alignment, and mandibular growth was observed. Treatment results remained substantially stable into the early permanent dentition stage. However, an increase in overbite and lower-arch crowding was observed. None of the children treated during the early mixed dentition stage required a second phase of treatment.

In the short term, the EGA appears effective in correcting increased overjet and overbite, Class II malocclusion, and lower anterior crowding during the early mixed dentition stage.

Early correction of increased overjet, overbite, and Class II molar relationship using the EGA is maintainable and can remain effective into the permanent dentition, provided the EGA is worn regularly as a retainer.
